📅 Availability

Deciding how often to come to therapy is an important part of setting yourself up for success. Some people benefit from the steady rhythm of weekly sessions—knowing they’ll have a consistent place to land each week provides accountability, momentum, and space to go deeper. For others, biweekly sessions feel like the right balance—giving time to process, reflect, and practice skills in between while still having regular support.

There isn’t one “right” choice. It often depends on what season of life you’re in, what you’re hoping to work on, and how much space you want between sessions to integrate the work we do together. For example, clients who are in the middle of a big life transition, feeling emotionally overwhelmed, or working through trauma often find weekly sessions most helpful. Clients who are focusing on maintenance, self-growth, or balancing therapy with demanding schedules sometimes prefer the flexibility of biweekly sessions.

There isn’t a single right answer. What matters is what feels sustainable for you right now. Together, we’ll decide on a pace that honors both your healing and the rest of your life. Making time for yourself in this way is an important first step in putting down some of the weight you’ve been carrying for everyone else.
