Fee & Payment FAQ
I'm using my insurance to pay for sessions, so what is my fee responsibility for sessions?
This will differ based on your individual plan. Healing for Wholeness, LLC does not verify insurance benefits. All prospective clients are encouraged to call the customer service number on the back of their card to inquire about their benefits. Questions to ask are:
What’s my deductible for in-network mental health benefits?
Is there a limit on sessions my plan will cover per year?
If Yes, How many?
Does my policy cover 60 minute sessions?
If yes, how many?
How much is my co-payment for mental health services?
What is the policy year (i.e. Jan 1 – Dec 31)?
Does my plan require pre-authorization for psychotherapy?
Do you offer sliding scale rates?
Yes, I offer a 20% reduction in my fee for those that are experiencing economic hardship. The fee reduction is meant to provide access based on financial need. It is not to provide general discounts.
I have insurance but a very high deductible. Can I forgo using my insurance and still see you?
Yes! You would sign a form stating that you are opting-out of using your health insurance benefits.
I have an insurance that you do not accept, can we still work together?
Of course! You would simply pay out-of-pocket. If you have out-of-network benefits, then I will provide you with a superbill so that you can pursue full or partial reimbursement from your insurance.
